2012 Easter Program


Gates open Thursday 5th April at 4pm.
Cost $200 per family vehicle


Featuring:

  • Good Friday Evening 6th April concert with "Left of Centre”
    These girls are a park favorite and  have become a very professional team, entertaining on the Gold Coast over the past four years.

  • Saturday. Night Run. Suitable for any standard 4X4 vehicle. Organized by Phil and Margaret Horner to their usual high standard the night run is not against the clock and is about fun and participation.

  • Sunday Evening Concert 7th April. Kelly Llewellyn  Singer-songwriter and accomplished entertainer from Beaudesert.  Kelly has been featured in the main hall at Tamworth, we look forward to this years performance.

  • Monday. An relaxed day to say our goodbyes and have a safe trip home.

Note:

  • N.B. Make sure that your number-plates are free of any mud before leaving the park.

  • WE will have new arrangements in place for our rubbish over the weekend to comply with EPA following the Carbon Tax legislation. Once we know exactly what we are required to do  we will put it up on the net.

  • Dogs must have some type of tick protection.

  • Bring long sleeve tops and long pants if you plan to do any of the walks, lavender oil and RID may help with leaches

  • We have Telstra Next G phone reception only. The reception on park can be poor because of the hills.

  • A small generator is fine if you plan to camp away from the main camping grounds. Please turn off by 9pm. If you need
    a generator for medical reasons please tell us so that we can place you in the most appropriate area to meet your needs

  • You may bring your own porta-loo and bury the contents. A porta-loo palice is available at the Woodenbong Camping area beside the swimming pool at no cost.

  • Keep a close eye on the weather, gum boots are available at the produce store in Urbenville.

  • A courtesy bus will be available from the Crown Hotel Urbenville. They have a new menu and a guest chef over Easter and a program of entertainment.

  • Coming up off-park, 11th Feb is the Urbenville Bull Ride and charity auction. Some old bush crafts will also be demonstrated including splitting timber fence posts. The Bull rides should be spectacular as the top riders in Australia will be attending

  • On the 17th March there will be an all night bowls party at the Urbenville Bowling Club raising money for cancer research, this may be an adventure for those who have retired and don’t need to be bright eyed on Monday.
